Loots After A Long Hiatus

So after a long break from gunpla, I definitely stopped buying for a while.

But once I got back to doing them, I couldn’t stop buying more (not as bad till that extent :X)

First, I got the HG Gundam Age-1 Normal at $18 at AFA. No pics of it thou :/

Total Sum: $18 (still okay)

Next, it was the Gundam Expo. Had to get things there!

First round

HG Genoace, SD Kshatriya!

Also the Gundam Epyon and Deathascythe Hell clear folder and other free flyers!

Total Sum: $56 (still not bad)

Second Round

HG Gundam Age-1 Titus, HGUC GM Cannon II and SD God Gundam

Total Sum: about $110++ (it’s getting bad)

Third and Final Round

RG Freedom Gundam.

Got this while helping my friend buy RG ZAku II Mass Production Type with a free 1/144 Hangar Base.

Total Sum : $150++ that’s bad:/

So no more kits after this round for me.

But a few hours later,

The package from HLJ arrived!

So excited when I got this and immediately opened it up with my hobby knife ^^.

Gundam Perfect File 1 with Binder, Kotobukiya MSG Weapon Unit  Freestyle Gun, Double Sword/Lance, Freestyle Bazzoka, HG Gundam Nataku, HG Arms Astray Leons’ PMC Custom,  HG Ahead Mass Production Type, LBX The Emepror and SD Gundam Mk-II Titans’ Colour.

You guys must be thinking why the invoice does not reflect with all the kit shown. That’s because the rest are for my friend. Saves cost to order together ^^

Got for him Robot Damashii Unicorn Gundam Unicorn Mode, HGUC GM x2, HGUC Zaku II FZ Kai, HG Susanowo Trans-Am.

Total Cost: $270+ :/.

Before we talk about the spending, let’s talk about HLJ.

The service is really good with the customer service replying to all my emails even though I sent them so many questions.

This order took 8 days to arrive which is considered fast for SAL.

The way they arrange the kits is really smart as to save shipping costs.

Don’t be fooled by the individual shipping cost as the shipping cost would eventually be 20-40% of the total of the individual costs. Mine was 50% ^^

I think I would make another order during Christmas where they would be a sale ^6

You guys should order from there as well!

Anyway, I’ve spent too much so no more spending till next year.

Next year, wont be doing much due to O levels anyway.

Perhaps another HLJ order for next year

HG Gundam Age-1 Titus – Completed

So here’s a completed kit posted here after a long hiatus. Got this last week at Gunpla Expo and completed it staright after I got home.

Let’s get right into it now!

This kit comes with 2 beam lariat effect parts which is really nice. Good for those bashing up poses.

I didn’t really think well of it at first but after playing around with it I found it to be very nice!

This kit also comes with the beam spike effect parts (14 of them I think). The effect is nice but I felt that it is actually a little hard to put them in. Another problem is that they keep falling off. Still it can bring out many poses will the spikes shooting out from the shoulders and knees.

Overall, I think this is a very nice kit which is better and has a more unique feeling than the Age-1 Normal. Bulky looking but sure packs a punch. Unlike regular MS designs we see. The colours are very nicely down only the chest and the forehead and insides of the front skirts need to be painted.

If you are thinking of geting an HG Age kit, this one is a totally good one to go for. For a cheap price at $25.95 but with good mobility and gimmicks. ^^

For those who watched the recent epsidoe 7 of Gundam Age would have seen how Titus game the Baqto and sweet punch! Hope to see it in action in Episode 8.

Back In Action?

I know it has been a long long while since I last updated due to the hectic life in school and also lack of motivation and time to post.

But now it’s the HOLIDAYS!

So I’m considering to continue this blog.

I don’t know when I might atop or even continue from here.

Even if I continue, it’ll be till the end of the year at most ^^

Because next year is O Levels.
