Went down to takashimaya today to collect the book I ordered from Kinokuniya and also to take pictures of the entries of the MG and SD model kit challenge 2010.’There were much lesser entries compared to last years BAKUC but still the quality of the entries are still there.
Lets start with the entries.
Junior Category
First up
My diorama. ^^
21st centruy sango. Interesting idea
Legend of Shin Ryuubi. The diorama is nice.
CJ Assualt
The beginning of unicorn. I like the way he used the runners to support the back of the diorama.
Unicorn vs Unicorn Banshee. I like the banshee a lot.
tzees’ diorama. The colour of the base is nice. =)
Looking at the idea and the names. I believe that the creater of the these two dioramas are brothers.
Bacho with some parts from Ryuubi. Overall, its very nice.
Mokaku + Elephant. Looks to be done by a small boy but still I like the effort.
Koumei Nu protecting the castle gates. I feel that the gate is very lego-ish but its nice. ^^

Open Category
A red exia.

Zaku II
Astray Blue Frame Second Revise
Sinanju. Its really glossy!!!
RX-78-2. Looks small beside Sinanju
Battle damaged Zaku II. The base is quite nice.
3 zeon suits vs Guntank (I think)
Antoher blue frame. But the one before looks nicer.
Shin Musha. VSing somthing I not sure of as the picture is a little blur.
Battle damaged god gundam. I love the sand and the ground of the diorama.
Astray blue frame painted gold
Purple Sinanju. Love the paint scheme. ^^
Modded Sazabi
Another Wing Zero Custom.
Stirke Noir. One of my favourites there.
I recognise this one. Full Armor Sinanju by Toymaker. Also one of my favourites ^^
Zaku II again
Wing Zero Custom Version Buster. Paint scheme is nice.
Gouf I remember the name of this entry. Its called Spirit of Zeon or something.
Acguy. I wonder how the paint job was done. Its shinier than gloss but doesn’t look metallic to me.
Char’s Z’ Gok with a figure of Char. I like the figure.
Rick Dias I think.
Red Frame Kai. Another one of my favourites ^^
Infinite Justice Gundam

There are a total of 12 entries and 30 entries for the junior and open categories respectively. I hope I’ll be able to get a merit prize considering that there is 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5 merit prizes.
Anyway, here’s my predictions for the competition.
Junior Categoy:
First: The black Bacho diorama.
Second: The legend of Shin Ryuubi.
Third: Either tzees’ diorama or the one with koumei nu protecting the gates.
Open Category:
All of them are nice and I hope to attain their level someday.
First: Guardian of the Sky. The one with Strike Noir.
Second and Third: Toymaker’s Sinanju and the purple Sinanju

No. But the fair is kinda small but there’re some nice deals. And u might have to go up to the toys department on the third floor to check out other kits as not all are at the atrium.

Wo! I’m really stunned by the works this year. The junior catergory is already good, some entries I really like are the modded Bachou and the Silver Shin Ryuubi. Very interesting!
For the open catergory, the Red Exia blew me away already. For the Sinanjus and Acguy mods below… Wow!!
Yea. The entries were all great. I agree that the modded bacho and silver ryuubi is great. Forthe open catgory, the Sinanju and Strike Noir are fantastic. With all the great entries, I hope I’ll be able to get a merit prize.^^ U shd hv entered too!

the open category entries are really well done but there wasn’t really any cool and kick-ass diorama like the BAKUC in 2009. Well i think tzee’s diorama would beat the “legend of shin ryubi” due to his realism he put into it.
